Itinerary (10 Nights/11 Days)

Day 1, Manali-Sarchu (225 kM)

After morning breakfast you will leave for village Sarchu (240 kms). You will be driving in greater Himalayas and your first stop will be at Rohtang Pass. You resume your drive and cross Tanda Keylong, Jespa, Darcha, Barlacha and reach Sarchu in the late evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be arranged (tent/gold drop camp).

Day 2, Sarchu-Leh (250 KMS)

You will be on an early morning drive to Leh crossing Lachulang La pass, Pang Village and Taglang La. You will reach Leh by the late evening. Check in at hotel Spic N Span and enjoy the exquisite dinner. Overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel.

Day 3, Free Day At Leh/Rest Day

This will be a complete rest day for you at Leh. In the evening, there will be a short sightseeing tour of Shanti Stupa and Leh palace. Dinner and overnight stay will be organised at the hotel.

Day 4, Leh-Pangong (149 KMS)

After early breakfast, drive for Pangong Lake which is 149 KM from Leh en-route visiting Thiksey Monastery before proceed to Changla Pass (the third highest mountain motorable pass in the world). The Lake is situated at the height of 4350 meters (14270 ft) in the Changthang region of Leh district. The lake is hardly six to seven Kilometer at its widest point but over 130 kms long. It is bisected by the international border between India and China. The Saline water lake is at the height of 4,350 m (14,270 ft) and has a brilliant colour variation including deep blue and turquoise. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel/camp.

Day 5, Pangong-leh (149 KM)

Leave Pangong after breakfast and drive back towards Leh from the same route. At the Karu road junction, drive across the Indus and take the road to Hemis. You can visit the famous 17th Century Hemis Monastery which is one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh and drive back to Leh. Enjoy the exquisite dinner served at the hotel.

Day 6, Leh-Nubra (125 KMS)

After early breakfast, drive for Nubra Valley as early as possible. It is 135 KM from Leh en-route through the world’s highest accessible road Khardong La (18,379 ft). After reaching Diskit (headquarter of Nubra valley) by the noon, you can check in at the hotel/camp and savour lunch. In the evening, visit Diskit Monastery and Sand dunes in Hunder Village 7 KM from Diskit and take a ride. Dinner and overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel.

Day 7, Nubra-Leh (125 KMS)

After breakfast, you drive back from the same route towards Leh via Khardong La Pass to reach Leh by the evening. Enjoy the dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8, Free Day At Leh/Rest Day

In the evening you can explore the local market and can buy some local mementos for yourself or for your family. The dinner and the overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 9, Tleh-Kargil (224 KMS)

After early breakfast, drive for Kargil (224km) via visiting Alchi Monastery (hot lunch at Alchi) Sangam (confluence of rivers Indus and Zanskar). You can also see Magnetic Hill (the hill that defies the gravity). Drive to Kargil via visiting Lamayuru Monastery, which is one of the oldest monasteries of Ladakh . The monastery is famous for its rich wall paintings, the collection of Thankas, murals, scriptures and statues of Buddha and other deities. Beside monastery, Lamayuru is also an attractive tourist place and is known for a similar landscape like Lunar Terrain. Reach Kargil by evening and check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be organized at the hotel.

Day 10, Kargil-Srinagar (210 KMS)

After early breakfast you will drive to Srinagar. It is about 210 kms and during the drive you also visit Vijay Samarak (Kargil War Memorial) and the legendary Tiger Hill. Soon after leaving Drass via the Zozilla Pass (11575 ft), we enter Sonmarg, which means “Meadow of Gold”. We will continue till we reach Srinagar by the late evening. Overnight stay and dinner will be organised at the hotel/houseboat.

Day 11, End of A Beautiful Journey

We will leave for Manali after having breakfast. Tour Concludes
