Itinerary Detail
Day 1: Arrival in Leh
Arrival at Leh Airport and transfer to hotel. Rest for acclimatization at 3,500 meters altitude.
Evening visit to Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore:
- Magnetic Hill
- Gurudwara Pathar Sahib
- Hall of Fame Museum
- Sangam (Indus–Zanskar Confluence)
Return to hotel. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley
Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (5,359 meters).
Visit Diskit Monastery and explore Hunder Sand Dunes. Optional camel ride available. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 4: Nubra to Pangong Lake
After breakfast, drive via Shyok route to Pangong Lake.
Enjoy peaceful time by the lake and witness changing shades of blue. Overnight stay at lakeside camp.
Day 5: Pangong to Hanle
Drive to Hanle through the remote Changthang region.
Visit Hanle Monastery and Indian Astronomical Observatory. Enjoy incredible stargazing at night. Overnight stay in Hanle.
Day 6: Hanle – Umling La – Hanle
After early breakfast, drive to Umling La Pass (approx. 5,799 meters), officially the highest motorable road in the world.
Spend time capturing unforgettable moments before returning to Hanle. Overnight stay in Hanle.
Day 7: Hanle to Leh
After breakfast, drive back to Leh through scenic Changthang plateau landscapes.
Arrive in Leh by evening. Overnight stay.
Day 8: Departure from Leh
After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
