Day 1, Pleasant welcome in traditional way
You will arrive at Leh by flight and will meet our representative at the airport. A traditional welcome at the hotel with Khataks and served with welcome tea and coffee. Take a complete day rest to get acclimatized with the high altitude of 3524 Meters (11,500 ft). Later in the evening, visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Bazar for orientation. Dinner and overnight stay organized at the hotel.
Day 2, Visit to likir and spituk monastery
After early breakfast, drive towards east of Ladakh to visit Alchi, Likir and Spituk Monastery. Alchi is 70 Km east of Ladakh on the Srinagar- Leh Highway and is situated by the bank on Indus river. It is said to be oldest and most famous monastery of Ladakh. After the detailed tour of the monastery, you have Lunch in Alchi at Zimskhang Restaurant and later drive back to visit Likir monastery. While returning you can visit Sangam (confluence of rivers Indus and Zanskar) and Magnetic Hill (the hill that defies the gravity). Dinner at local Ladakhi house in Stock Village and overnight stay organized at the Hotel.
Day 3, Tour of pangong lake
After early breakfast, drive for Pangong Lake which is 149 KM from Leh, en route visiting Thiksey Monastery. Drive through Changla Pass, which is the 3rd highest mountain motorable pass in the world. The Lake is situated at the height of 4350 meters (14270 ft) in the Changthang region of Leh district. The lake is hardly 6-7 kilometers wide and over 130 KM long. It is bisected by the international border between India and China. The saline water lake is at the height of 4,350 m (14,270 ft) and has a brilliant colour variation including deep blue and turquoise. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel/ camp.
Day 4, Explore the hemis monastery
Leave Pangong after breakfast and drive back towards Leh from the same route. At the Karu road junction, drive across the Indus and take the road to Hemis, visit the famous 17th century Hemis Monastery which is one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh. From Kharu drive back to the city of Leh. Dinner and overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel.
Day 5, Double humped bactrian camels ride at diskit monastery
After early breakfast, drive for Nubra Valley as early as possible, which is 135 KM from Leh en route through the world’s highest accessible road Khardong La (18,379 ft). Reach Diskit (headquarter of Nubra valley) by noon and check in at the hotel/camp and have exquisite lunch. Visit Diskit Monastery and Sand dunes in Hunder Village which is about 7km from Diskit and take a ride of Double Humped Bactrian Camels. Dinner and overnight stay will be organized at the hotel/camp.
Day 6, Summer monastery trip to explore local beauty
After breakfast you can visit Summer Monastery. Later, drive back to Leh from the same route crossing Khardong La Pass and reach back by the afternoon. Check in at the hotel and savour delicious lunch. Explore the local market in free time. Dinner and overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel.
Day 7, Rafting on zanskar river (sangam)
After breakfast you will be transfer to Sangam for white water rafting from Skorpochey to Nimoo 25 KM stretch on Zanskar River. Enjoy the evening with Ladakhi cultural show. Dinner and overnight stay will be organized at the hotel.
Day 8, End of a blissful journey
After early breakfast, transfer to Kushok Bakula Leh airport for the return flight. Tour concludes!
